2 Corinthians 4:18
18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
I have spent my career working with students. Whether it was an academic or behavioral issue, as a Special Education teacher, I was tasked with getting to the root of their problem. I could not take for face value that they just couldn’t understand or were bad kids. I could not fix my eyes on what was seen. I needed to concentrate on what was not seen.
Often we are faced with problems. We get all caught up in the issues swirling around us. We see no way out and feel defeated, much like my students. When we step back and start concentrating on the unseen, what is really going on behind the scenes we find God standing there. He is reaching out waiting to help you. He reminds you that this is just one page in your story. All we have to do is let the Author do His work and our story will have a happy ending.
Lord, thank You for being the Author of my story. I know all the page says things are wrong, You have a happy ending waiting for me. ~amen
