Psalms 86:4
4 Bring joy to your servant, Lord,
for I put my trust in you.
Thoughts…
I love today’s verse. I pray for Joy in my heart. However, I think I can take this verse a little bit farther. I can say, I have joy because I can trust in the Lord. Trust is not an easy thing for people. I know it is not easy for me.
For the longest time, I went around with an attitude of knowing God can do something but would He. I truly believed God was able to do anything. I knew His promises and believed everyone of them. What I didn’t do was trust God to do what was best for me. You see it doesn’t matter if He does or does not do what I expect, believe or want Him to do. My trust is He will do SOMETHING at the PROPER TIME..
The privilege of learning to trust God for everything is a pure joy to me. Knowing He will never let me down and will always do what is best for me is joyous.

Lord thank your for the joy you bring to my heart by allowing me to trust you! ~amen
