She put her whole trust in the God of Israel!

2 Kings 18:5-8
Hezekiah trusted in the Lord, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him. He held fast to the Lord and did not stop following him; he kept the commands the Lord had given Moses. And the Lord was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook. He rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him. From watchtower to fortified city, he defeated the Philistines, as far as Gaza and its territory. (NIV)

Hezekiah put his whole trust in the God of Israel. There was no king quite like him, either before or after. He held fast to God—never loosened his grip—and obeyed to the letter everything God had commanded Moses. And God, for his part, held fast to him through all his adventures. He revolted against the king of Assyria; he refused to serve him one more day. And he drove back the Philistines, whether in sentry outposts or fortress cities, all the way to Gaza and its borders. (MSG)

Thoughts…

Hezekiah broke through many barriers during his life by holding fast to God. He clung to Him and in return, God held on right back. They were joined, stuck together. Hezekiah knew every step to take because he walked with God.

How many strongholds could you break just by holding fast to God? Don’t mistake me here, I am not saying the path will be easy. What I am saying is you will get through the path. You will overcome and be victorious. You will live a life that people will say, ”She put her whole trust in the God of Israel!”
