Thoughts…

Cast “all you care;” personal cares, family cares, cares for the present, and cares for the future, for yourselves, for others, for the church, on God. These are burdensome, and often very sinful, when they arise from unbelief and distrust, when they torture and distract the mind, unfit us for duties, and hinder our delight in the service of God(Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary).

Cast EVERY care on God. There is no care too small or too big. Cast every single one of them. They are all burdens that slow us down or distract us. The little ones can quickly turn into big ones. I am always praying for a good parking space when the weather is nasty! I also take time to praise God and thank him when one opens up for me. Joyce Meyer talked about praying for a good hair day or a good score while bowling. When God says everything, He means it.

Why not cast all your cares on a God that asks you to do so? What do you lose by asking? Think of all you could gain!
